MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. (Aug. 27, 2007)- Brig. Gen. David H. Berger, the assistant division commander of 2nd Marine Division, speaks to Marines and their families during the division?s family night for the First Term Alignment Plan. Berger, along with Sgt. Maj. Michael F. Jones, the division sergeant major, and the division family readiness office explained benefits and incentives for Marines and their families to re-enlist. 20 August 2007, an Iraqi soldier with 2d Brigade, 7th Iraqi Division provides security in a building being cleared by 2-7 soldiers during a close quarters combat qualification course at Camp Al Asad, Iraq. Marines from 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, 4th Marine Division are working with the Iraqi soldiers to train them in close quarters combat skills. 2d Brigade, 7th Division is with Multi National Forces-West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop Iraqi Security Forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
