CAMP BLUE DIAMOND, AR RAMADI, Iraq - Members of the band walk back through the gate after a patrol outside the camp's walls, July 15, looking for insurgent weapons or encampments. The Camp Lejeune, N.C.-based band, normally accustomed to the business of playing ceremonial military music for changes of command and the Marine Corps birthday ball, changed their focus more than a year ago when they found out they would become headquarters battalion's main defense against insurgent attacks. U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Stephen D'Alessio (RELEASED)
