                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          The The purpose of this course is to blend the fundamentals of  Combat Life Saver(CLS) with Tactical Combat Casualty Care(TCCC) in its entirety. This course will teach Marines and Sailors the skills necessary to provide emergency medical interventions in a combat environment. It will also address the treatment and procedures for enemy combatants who are injured. The course is 4 four days long consisting of three days of didactic instruction and one day of final practical application testing. The training utilizes trauma mannequin simulators, and tactical combat cut suit trainers in place of live tissue training as a means of reinforcing the skills learned throughout the course. We also offer a one day Basic Life Saver Course that certifies Marines and Sailors according to the standard of the American Heart Association. The instruction covers CPR, rescue breather, defibrillator use and choking first aid (Heimlich's maneuver) for infants, children, and adults.
