Humvee safety system displayed for Marine leaders

The II Marine Expeditionary Force innovation and technology officer sponsored a demonstration of the Automatic Vehicle Fire Escape and Survival System by Global Safety Labs here, June 26. The system uses a fire suppressant called Arctic Fire Freeze to extinguish flames caused by explosions. Marine leaders with 2nd Marine Division and II MEF, were shown how the system works through several tests.
