CAMP RAMADI, Iraq (March 3, 2005) -- Lance Cpl. Jordan F. Sherwood, 22, of Roanoke, Va., a combat photographer for 1st Marine Division, holds up the ace of diamonds, not letting Cpl. Sam Heng(second from left), training non commissioned officer for training and operations, Headquarters and Service Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, see it. Sherwood would later return the card to the middle of Heng's deck of cards only to have him thump the deck with his finger and make the card "magically" jump to the top of the deck. Lance Cpl. John R. Cruz, 20, of Plainview, Texas, and Lance Cpl. Ryan G. Evans, 21, of Rome, Ga., both riflemen with H&S Company, 1/5, watch, eager to see Heng perform one of his card tricks. Heng taught himself two card tricks on his first deployment to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He honed his skills during OIF 2 and puts them to good use entertaining other Marines on his third deployment in support of OIF. 1st Battalion, 5th Marines are in Ramadi on a seven-month deployment where they are conducting security and stabilization operations and training the Iraqi Security Forces.(Official United States Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
