Pre-Scout Sniper Course (PSSC)

This four-week course is designed to better prepare basically trained Scout Snipers in the skills necessary to prepare them for the Scout Sniper Basic Course (SSBC).  The course focuses on M40A6, range card development, known and unknown distance exercises on live-fire ranges from various supported shooting positions, alternate positions, and stalking exercises.

The 2nd Marine Division Combat Skills Center continued the development of future Marine scout snipers during the pre-scout sniper course at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Jan. 12. The course is designed to give the Marines an introduction to the Scout Sniper course in order to increase their potential for success at the school house.

1) Download these forms: DCSC ROSTER TEMPLATE and (U) DCSC COURSE REQUEST.pdf  or ISMT REQUEST
2) Once these documents are filled out completely send to: 2DMARDIV_DCSC@USMC.MIL

3) Once you receive email confirmation check the DCSC Scheduling to ensure your unit is attached to the requested course​.
