CAMP AR RAMADI, Ar Ramadi, Iraq (Aug. 11, 2005) - Lance Cpl. Steven R. Seeley, a machine gunner with 4th Platoon, Company B, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, kneels down in front of a photo of fallen Lance Cpl. Adam J. Strain and pays his respects during a memorial ceremony here Aug. 11. Marines and Sailors with Camp Pendleton, Calif., -based 1st Battalion, 5th Marines mourned the loss of 21-year-old Strain, a machine gunner with Company B, who fell on Ramadi's urban battlefield Aug. 3 while fighting terror. Seeley and Strain served together and were best friends. Strain was from Smartsville, Calif., and leaves behind his parents, Rob and Karen Strain, and fiance, Barbara Ann Wyclef. Photo by: Cpl.
