Maintenance Management Chief, Staff Sgt. Martha Avellanet, physically inspects a recently repaired Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle February 23. The Wauconda, Ill., native is taking over as the maintenance management chief for 2nd Marine Division (Forward), and will soon be responsible for millions of dollars worth of ground combat equipment throughout Helmand and Nimroz provinces.
