Lieutenant Colonel Charles E. Miller II

LtCol Miller enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1995 and graduated from the University of Texas in 2004. As a career infantryman, he has completed several Fleet Marine Force tours and deployed six times, supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Inherent Resolve, the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and Task Force 61/2.

LtCol Miller's supporting establishment tours include time at The Basic School as a staff member and a tour on recruiting duty as a Recruiting Station Commanding Officer in Richmond, Virginia. LtCol Miller has attended a yearlong resident Marine Corps professional military education courses as a Captain and Major. He graduated from the School of Advanced Warfighting, an Advanced Intermediate Level School in 2020. 

LtCol Miller holds two master's degrees and has most recently completed a tour as the 2d Marine Division Plans Officer, focusing on Force Design 2030 initiatives.

LtCol Miller is married to Elizabeth Miller, and they have four children.
