Marines with Alpha Company, 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, participated in a week-long, Counter-IED course aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., March 2-5, 2015. The course included classes covering individual preparedness in an improvised explosive device environment, small unit leader considerations in an IED environment, homemade explosives and a metal detector operator’s course.
