CAMP BAHARIA, Iraq - Staff Sgt. Brian Bonk, Baharia Post Exchange manager, stocks up a refrigerator inside his store with caffeinated energy drinks Aug. 24. The 29-year-old Painesville, Ohio native's store offers Marines of 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment electronics, hygiene gear, and comfort items, and serves approximately 2,000 customers every week. - CAMP BAHARIA, Iraq - Staff Sgt. MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. (Sept. 8, 2005) - Family, friends and colleagues were present as Honolulu native, Col. Thomas L. Cariker relinquished command of 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, to Lt. Col. Christopher Mayette of South Bend, Ind., at a change of command ceremony here Sept. 9. - MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. SAQLAWIYAH, Iraq - An Iraqi policeman waves to a citizen while patrolling through the streets here recently. Saqlawiyah had no police force until several months ago, when U.S. Marines helped facilitate their entry back into the city. FALLUJAH, Iraq - Marines with 2nd Combined Anti-Armor Team, Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment observe the deserts around Route Mobile here Aug. 28 from aboard their High Mobility Multi-Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) while manning a temporary observation post.
