Gonzalez, a food service specialist with Headquarters and Service Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, serves a Marine at the mess hall here during lunch. The 19-year-old from Dallas and his high school friend, Lance Cpl. Miguel A. Bautista, who's also 19-years-old, are both in Ar Ramadi, Iraq supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom with Camp Pendleton, Calif., based 1st Battalion, 5th Marines. Bautista is a rifleman with Company A.
