MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. - Secretary of the Navy Donald C. Winter listens as Lt. Col. William Jurney, 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment's commander, introduces his Marines before the Secretary's breakfast with them here Jan. 9. During his daylong tour of the base, Winter spoke with several personnel from the 2nd Marine Division to get a firsthand account of how troops were training in garrison and conducting combat operations in the Global War on Terrorism overseas.
