041020-M-2607O-002 MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. (October 20, 2004) -- Seaman Clayton M. Garcia a hospitalman with 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment is presented a Bronze Star with a combat distinguishing device on Oct. 20, from Lt. Col. James G. Kyser the commanding officer of the regiment. The Lytton, Iowa native was given the medal for his actions during the seven-month deployment to Iraq with the battalion.
