Staff Sgt. Nathan Hunt, a North Benton, Ohio native and platoon sergeant with 2d Battalion, 2d Marine Regiment, stands in front of his commanders at Camp Lejeune before receiving a Bronze Star with a combat distinguishing device recently for his heroics actions while serving in Iraq. Hunt was one of 15 Marines and one sailor in his battalion who received awards that day for their combat actions in Iraq.
