HURRICANE POINT, Ar Ramadi, Iraq (March 13, 2005) - Eighteen-year-old Pfc. Darius D. Gage, (right) a food service specialist with Headquarters and Service Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, posses for a photo outside the mess hall here. Twenty-one-year-old Cpl. Oscar E. Secaida, food service specialist, H&S, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, from Houston, stands beside him. Having his picture taken is nothing new for Gage. The Chicago native modeled clothing for four years in Essence Magazine prior to joining the Marines summer of 2004. He often made more than $500 for doing 24 hours of modeling.
