CAMP AL QA'IM, Iraq (March 21, 2005)- Lance Cpl. Gresham H. Gregg, 27, a gun truck driver with security platoon, 3rd Battalion, 2d Marine Regiment has only been deployed to Iraq for a month and has already experienced the biggest explosion of his life. He stands by mine covers used to disguise mines planted outside the base. The Greenwood, Miss., native was involved in sweeping a route for 2d Force Recconassince when they found four mines about 800 meters off base.
