CAMP AL QA'IM, Iraq (March 22, 2005)- The Marines of 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment honor their fallen brother Lance Cpl. Kevin Smith who was killed in action by a vehicle borne improvised explosive device March 21. Sgt. Chase Roth places Smith's dog tags on the Marine's riffle. The Memorial ceremony took place here March 22. The Battalion Chaplain Lt. John Anderson gives a memorial speech in honor of Smith, who was with the battalion's security platoon.
