CAMP HURRICANE POINT Ar Ramadi, Iraq (April 1, 2005) -Twenty-seven-year-old Pfc. David S. Johnson, a motor transportation mechanic with Headquarters and Service Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, installs protective armor on the passenger's side of a Humvee at the motor pool here. The New Baltimore, Mich., native joined the Marines to honor his late father, Steven R. Johnson, who past away in 2003. His dad was also a mechanic who served in the Corps for more than 20 years.
