CAMP HURRICANE POINT Ar Ramamdi, Iraq (April 7, 2005) - Lance Cpl. Eduardo Arias, machine gunner, 2nd Platoon, Company W, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, bows his head and remembers the type of Marine and personal friend Cpl. Garry W. Rimes was during a memorial ceremony here. The 30-year-old rifleman and scout with 2nd Platoon, Company W, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, was killed by enemy sniper fire while fighting the Global War on Terrorism.
