AR RAMADI, Iraq (April 13, 2005) - Cpl. Matt I. Bremer, squad leader for 2nd Squad, 2nd Platoon, Company A, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, motions for his squad members to enter a house here and set up an over watch from the rooftop while other Marines with 2nd Platoon check out a potential improvised explosive device. The 22-year-old from Winston Salem, N.C., and other Marines with 2nd Platoon, Company A, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, conducted a combat patrol through the southern portion of the city where insurgents have actively been engaging coalition forces.
