AL QA'IM, Iraq (April 16, 2005)- Pfc. Brian D. Murphy, 21, a squad automatic weapon gunner with 2nd Platoon, Company K, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team-2 provides security outside the concrete plant during a cordon and knock here. The Boston, Mass., native and his platoon were searching for any type of material that could be used to oppose U.S. Forces. Murphy is a 2002 Norwell High School graduate.
