CAMP HURRICANE POINT Ar Ramadi, Iraq (May 23, 2005) - Second Lieutenant Eldon W. Beck, legal officer and adjutant with 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, raises his right hand and takes his oath of office during a promotion ceremony here. The 25-year-old from Modesto, Calif., was promoted to the rank of first lieutenant along with three other Marine officers with 1st Battalion, 5th Marines.
