AR RAMADI, Iraq (June 7, 2005) - Lance Cpl. Victor M. Solorzano, a rifleman with 3rd Squad, 1st Platoon, Company A, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, negotiates his way down a flight of stairs after searching the building during a mission in the marketplace here. Two members of the Iraqi Security Forces follow behind the 21-year-old from Las Vegas. Company A Marines searched several buildings on a mile-long stretch of road that bisects the city's marketplace during "Operation Weatherford III." Two squads of ISF assisted the Marines during the three-hour mission, which was aimed at finding sniper positions, weapons caches, improvised explosive device making material and suspicious individuals.
