CAMP SNAKE PIT Ar Ramadi, Iraq (June 22, 2005) - The Chaplain for 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, Navy Lt. Aaron T. Miller, delivers the invocation during a memorial ceremony here, which was held in honor of Lance Cpl. Erik R. Heldt. Heldt, a machine gunner with Mobile 1, 4th Platoon, Company C, and 26-year-old from Hermann, Mo., was killed fighting terror in the city the evening of June 16 when an improvised explosive device exploded directly underneath his Humvee. Heldt was a 1997 Hermann High School graduate and had fought in Fallujah during Operation Iraqi Freedom II. He is survived by his wife, Crystal. Photo by: Cpl. Tom Sloan
