FALLUJAH, Iraq - Lance Cpl. Matthew Higginbotham, an infantryman with Company C, 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, is currently deployed to Iraq's Al Anbar province. The 19-year-old Greenup, Ky. native helps his unit and Iraqi Security Forces provide security and stability to the residents of Fallujah through constants patrols and humanitarian assistance missions.
