SAQLAWIYAH, Iraq - Private First Class Austen Wood, an infantryman with 4th Platoon, Company A, 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, hands an Iraqi citizen an informational flyer during Operation Hard Knock July 27. Company A Marines searched dozens of houses throughout the small township outside Fallujah, looking for weapons, explosives and insurgent activity while gathering census data on the populace there. The Marines apprehended one suspected insurgent supporter.
