Cpl. Louie Castro, 21-year-old Fresno, Calif. native and battery clerk, Battery F, holds a coin awarded to him by Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. John L. Estrada upon the occasion of Estrada's visit here October 21. He stressed the importance of noncommissioned officer leadership, retention and off-duty safety considerations to several units around base. "[Marines today] have knowledge and experience in combat that Marines haven't had in a long time," Estrada said.
