Cpl. Marco A. Jimenez, a 22-year-old Powar, Calif., native stands in front of the Light Armored Vehicle in which he is a scout team leader here today. Jimenez was functioning as an advisor and additional security for Iraqi soldiers manning a traffic control point on the outskirts of Ar Rutbah, Iraq. The TCPs are designed to screen vehicles entering Ar Rutbah, which has seen a high level of insurgent and criminal activity recently.
