MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. - Lieutenant Cmdr. Richard H. Jadick, formerly 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment's surgeon, left, is congratulated by Brig. Gen. Joseph J. McMenamin, 2nd Marine Division's assistant commander, during his Bronze Star Medal presentation ceremony here Jan. 30. Jadick, a current urology resident in Augusta, Ga., was awarded the medal for courageously treating dozens of Marines, sailors and Iraqi soldiers during the battle for Fallujah in Nov. 2004.
