Lance Cpl. Daniel Andrews, a rifleman cross training as a machine gunner with Company A, Anti-Terrorism Battalion, posts as security while Marines from the company search the surrounding area for contraband such as weapons and propaganda here Sept. 15. The field exercise, which began Sept. 12 and continued through the 17, was designed to train the Marines to react to real-world situations they may encounter in their upcoming deployment.
