The video game Operation Flashpoint was the basis for a new way to train Marines. The game was adapted to portray modern combat scenarios in Iraq to include rocket-propelled grenades, mortar attacks and suicide bombers. The updated version is now used to train Marines who will soon be deploying to Iraq's hot spots.
