FALLUJAH, Iraq - Cpl. Chris Mann, a K-9 handler in direct support of 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, helps his German shepherd, Nick, stay hydrated here July 7 during Operation Hard Knock. The 23-year-old Bartlett, Tenn. native and his canine companion worked alongside the battalion's infantrymen and Iraqi Security Forces to search residencies for hidden weapons and explosive materials.
