JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (May 5, 2007)- Retired Maj. James Capers (right) and Retired Col. Gregory K. Manary explain the bond among the Marines who served with the 3rd Force Reconnassance Company during the Vietnam War from 1965-1970. The two men were two of the original members of the unit and have remained friends even after they retired. 3rd Recon had a reunion May 5 in Jacksonville. (Official U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
