COMBAT OUTPOST RAWAH, IRAQ, (JULY 24, 2007) – A light armored vehicle with Company C, 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, Regimental Combat Team 2, sets up a cordon on the edge of a small town as Marines patrol through the village during ‘Operation Mawtini.’ The battalion launched Company C, also known as the ‘Warpigs,’ in support of the operation, which covered most of the battalion’s area of operation (AO) across the northeastern side of the Euphrates River.
