On a sunny Sunday morning at H3 Airfield in Iraq’s western Al Anbar province, Staff Sgt. Timothy Wenrich, the 3rd Platoon sergeant for Company E, 2nd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, teaches Iraqi soldiers from the 3rd Battalion, 29th Brigade, 7th Iraqi Army Division infantry fire and movement techniques, Feb. 23, 2009. The mission was Company E’s last here, as the unit prepares to retrograde to Al Asad Air Base, a large transportation hub, next month before redeploying back to the States. Wenrich, 30, served on active duty for four years before joining the Marine Forces Reserve in 2005.
