Sauquoit, N.Y., native Cpl. Jeremiah Henck cleans the mud from a mine roller's headlights on a Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle. The 25-year-old is currently deployed as a vehicle commander with 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division (Forward). Henck must ensure all combat vehicles are running properly prior to each mission. The unit is currently deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
