Gunnery Sgt. Christopher McDougal, the lead instructor of a battalion MCMAP course, demonstrates the proper technique for tapping out during practice drills for the figure-4 variation blood choke. The Jackson, Miss., native made sure to emphasize safety with this drill because the choke is designed to make an enemy pass out in mere seconds.
