Petty Officer 3rd Class Avery Alejandro, the preventative medicine specialist with 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division (Forward), evaluates a patient. Alejandro has been a corpsman for nearly four years and said he hopes to go to school for photography when his enlistment ends next year.
