Endicott, N.Y., native Lance Cpl. Zachary Reardon, a rifleman with Company G, 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, poses for a photo and jokes with the Marines in his squad recently. Reardon said he couldn’t wait to see his family when he returns home. The Marines of the company spent their deployment clearing the area of Trek Nawa of insurgents and training Afghan National Army soldiers.
