Members of the Afghan Uniform Police, who comprise the Musa Qal’eh commando police unit, donned in their uniforms and protective gear, pose for a unit photo with Commander Abdul Koka, the Musa Qal’eh District Chief of Police, aboard the AUP compound in Musa Qal'eh, Oct. 31. With help from the Marines of 1st Battalion, 8th Marines, Regimental Combat Team 2, this elite police unit is standing up to serve as a quick reaction force to Taliban threats in the greater area of Musa Qal’eh.
