Sergeant Niamuttllah, an Afghan National Army medical sergeant, calms an Afghan child after applying burn ointment and bandages recently. The child had third degree burns on her face when she arrived at the clinic. Sergeant Niamuttllah, with the help of a Navy corpsman, treated the child’s wounds and provided the family with medical supplies to continue treatment.
