Cpl. Scott Edelblute, a radio operator and designated marksman for 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, pauses inside a compound in Malozai, Afghanistan, Aug. 21 during Operation Sing Sing. The operation was designed to bring the government to the people of this town through meetings with local officials and give them an opportunity to stand up against the insurgency. Edelblute is a native of Aston, Pa.
