Water runs off the side of an amphibious assault vehicle with 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, during an amphibious operation at Onslow Beach aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, Oct. 18, 2013. “The amphibious operations we provide are a huge asset to the Marine Corps because we are who keeps the Marine Corps amphibious,” said Capt. Bret Presley, the Bravo Company commander, and Odessa, Texas native. “Without us, Marines would have to rely on other agencies in order to conduct a beach landing.”
