Lance Cpl Demetrio Morales, an assistant gunner with Kilo Battery, 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, changes the elevation on an M-777 lightweight 155mm howitzer at Fort Bragg, N.C., May 7, 2014. Marines with Kilo Battery were firing howitzers during a competition for the title Top Gun during the field operation Rolling Thunder. Top Gun is an internal competition within the regiment that showcases the capabilities of each battery through superior firepower and grades them on emplacement and knowledge of the weapons system, communications and organization of the convoy out of the firing position.
