An Amphibious Assault Vehicle drives on Onslow beach during an amphibious-assault, training mission with 2nd Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, July 31, 2014. The AAV’s carried the 120mm mortars inside, which were unloaded at a pre-determined, firing position to fire live rounds at targets up to five kilometers away.
