Shane Gordon, both tank crewmen with Bravo Company, Second Tank Battalion, Second Marine Division (2d MARDIV), conduct maintenance on an M1A1 Abrams tank at Camp Wilson, Marine Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, Oct. 14 2019. For every hour operating a tank, crewmen conduct cleaning and maintenance for three hours to ensure mission success. Second Tank Battalion is preparing to support 2d MARDIV’s execution of MAGTF Warfighting Exercise (MWX) 1-20, from mid-October through early November.
