AR RAMADI, Iraq (March 25, 2005) -Twenty-five-year-old Sgt. Michael A. Lianoz, squad leader, 1st Squad, 1st Platoon, Company B, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, of Los Angeles, walks down a crude flight of stairs in an Iraqi home he and his Marines searched. Leathernecks with 1st Platoon, Company B, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, searched several houses in the western part of the city here March 25 for a man they suspect is a member of the jihad group Jaysh Mohamed, which is connected with producing improvised explosive devises and has been linked to several IED attacks.
