CAMP HURRICANE POINT Ar Ramadi, Iraq (June 17, 2005) - Lance Cpl. Mario R. De la Rosa, a machine gunner with 1st Squad, 3rd Platoon, Company A, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, shows off his Kevlar helmet, which reflected an enemy sniper round and saved his life. An insurgent targeted the 20-year-old from San Francisco while he and his fellow Marines conducted a mission in the city here June 17.
