CAMP BLUE DIAMOND, AR RAMADI, Iraq - Corporal William Bryan Malin, a Squad Automatic Weapon machine gunner with the camp's guard force, hands a stuffed animal to an Iraqi child while on patrol outside of the camp's walls. He revels in his ability to be able to do something positive for the children here. For the past six months, the 20-year-old Colorado Springs, Colo. native and his squad have been patrolling through the farm lands and villages that cushion the outside walls of the camp. The children know who he is, because they usually get a little teddy bear when he passes through their field. U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Stephen D'Alessio (RELEASED)
